We headed to the National Railway Museum at Shildon, the town itself being known as "The Cradle of the Railways". This will be the last time you will see the only six preserved A4 Steam Locomotives together in one place of which are Mallard, Bittern, Sir Nigel Gresley, Union of South Africa, Dominion of Canada and Dwight D Eisenhower. Bittern being in steam at the event and providing break van rides.
I have had to alter the volume level for the majority of the video because when I was using my Rode Video Mic Pro for the first time with a windjammer, I was using the recommended settings which was +20db of gain and the high pass filter on, together this made things quite loud so I've done what I can soften the sound so that's a lesson learned for next time.
I did bring my tripod but unfortunately, the event was quite busy, you still had people trying to get into the museum later that afternoon as one shot shows. Therefore I didn't get the chance to setup so all camerawork is done by hand.
